Unable To Ping From VMware Guest To VirtualBox Guest - SOLVED!

On the same Windows 7 host, 1 have two virtual machines running CentOS 6.5; one is a VirtualBox machine, while the other is a VMware machine.

On the VMware machine, I edited my /etc/resolv.conf as follows:
# Generated by NetworkManager
nameserver 8.8.8.8
search nyc.rr.com

For good measure, I also created an /etc/resolv.conf.tail:
nameserver 208.67.222.222

Verification:
From the VMware machine, I was able to ping VirtualBox:
[root@fs ~]# ping -c 3 192.168.1.101
